The Conference venue is Albert Hall which was built at the turn of the century with exquisite architecture and should be a perfect stage to host our conference. The Albert Hall was initially commissioned in 1870’s by the Good Templars and others and was an expensive building costing some £14,000. The Hall was then bought by local businessmen and opened as a mission in 1902. It was rebuilt in 1910 after a fire and officially reopened by Lady Boot. The venue is a short walk from the Conference Hotels.

The welcome reception on Thursday will be held at the Nottingham Castle which is also a short walk from the conference hotel and the venue. The Nottingham castle is a magnificent 17th Century mansion built at the site of the original Medieval Castle, with spectacular views across the city. The castle is a host to a dynamic museum and art gallery. Underneath the castle are many caves and tunnels, some of which date back to medieval times.

The council house which stands proudly in the heart of city centre is the host to our annual formal black tie dinner on Friday evening. The council house is also within walking distance to the conference venue and the conference hotels.
