Nottingham is a vibrant, cosmopolitan and modern city in the centre of UK and therefore very accessible by all modes of transport. Nottingham is proud to be designated as a science city and is a hotbed of science and technological innovation. Nottinghamshire is the home to the MRI scanner and Sir Peter Mansfield and also played an important role in the development of the CT scanner through a local boy - Sir Godfrey Hounsfield.
